This is the first time we've stayed here after using the off road center down the road. Absolutely blow away with the quality of food. Cooked to perfection! The rooms are great too. We will most definitely consider again in the near future.
Have driven past this place regularly but not visited it before. Popped in today for a coffee and a cheese scone. Lovely cafe and very friendly staff. And my “long black” coffee was perfectly made. We’ll be back.

Wiffy and I didn't stay in the rooms but as a family owned and in the main operated business, The Old School guest house is on the right track. Really friendly place and the breads cakes and food is all made on site, the pride in themselves is the unique selling point as its pride across the board. Just popped in for a toasties and a beer. We will be back in for a restaurant meal V,soon.
Had a meal in their restaurant Nosh tonight. Haggis bon bons to start followed by Wagu burger with cheesecake to finish. Great quality food with excellent presentation and service. Highly recommended.

Went for weekend lunch in the bar which was completely amazing. The food was outstanding, I had a sirloin steak cooked exactly as ordered with nice sides and super tasty peppercorn sauce. The hosts were lovely and took the time to have a good natter. There is a coal fire in the corner and a terrace/beer garden. Will be back for sure.
Absolutely loved this place the food was so tasty and fresh , the owners and staff an absolute delight. I had the Croque Monsieur, alcohol free beer, coffee and Bakewell tart. DELICIOUS!!! I will definitely be back and try the evening menu. Thank you for a lovely afternoon.
We arrived later than expected from the Midlands, the host met us at the hotel to let us in and show us where our room and amenities were. The room and hotel itself was very clean. A great little place.
Was in today for lunch food was freshly prepared very tasty and really reasonably priced and the service was excellent I would highly recommend giving it a try.
